The PROPERTY
Located on a tranquil private beach on a 16 acre plot south of Diani, distanced from residential neigh bours by rocky cliffs and endless beach, Kinon-do Kwetu is classified as a ‘Kaya’ area (protected by the National Museum) due to its surrounding holy forests and sacred land.
The HOUSE
With various forms of accommodation, all sur-rounded by green shady gardens and just a few steps from the white sandy beach, Kinondo Kwetu can cater for up to 43 people and is also able to facilitate exclusive use of selected parts. In addition to relaxing in the sun and swimming in the Indian Ocean, Kinondo Kwetu offers an impressive selec-tion of exciting activities.
AIR TRANSPORT
Closest Airstrip is Ukunda/ Diani Airstrip which is located a 15 minute drive from Kinondo.
Several flights operate daily from Safari lodges and Nairobi with Safarilink, Air Kenya and Mombasa Air Blue Sky to Ukunda/Diani Airstrip
Closest International Airport is Mombasa Inter-national Airport / MOI which is a 1,5 hour drive from Kinondo Kwetu, including crossing the ferry.
A private charter from Mombasa to Ukunda Airstrip is a 10 minute flight.

”Rain” Season May & 3/4 June, Kinondo Kwetu is closed during these month. (Still mostly sunny days but the team needs a break and we need to have time to make things even better ;-)
